The loss of his father at such a young age left a void that words cannot fully describe. Shortly after, he was sent to boarding school, away from his family and everything familiar. While most children his age were focused on school and friendships, Mateen was learning how to face life's challenges on his own.

Through every struggle, one person remained his strongest supporter — his mother.
In many Indian households, a woman's gold jewellery represents more than wealth. It symbolizes security, stability, and years of sacrifice. Yet when Mateen needed help building a future, his mother made an extraordinary decision.
She sold her gold jewellery so he could purchase a cab and earn a living.
That single act of sacrifice would become one of the defining moments of his life.

Working While Studying
After completing the 9th grade, Mateen began working to support himself.
His first job was washing dishes. It wasn't glamorous, but it taught him the value of hard work and humility.
As the years went on, he took on multiple roles wherever opportunities appeared. He worked at a saliya shop, a computer shop, and as an AC helper. Every job added a new skill and a new lesson.
Between 2016 and 2019, his life followed a demanding routine.
